66 North 1st Street는 20세기 초 상업 건물의 고전적인 적응 재사용 사례로, 원래 1910년에 건축되었습니다. 윌리엄스버그의 산업 과거를 진정으로 기념하는 이 공장은 한때 맞춤형 강철 구조물 및 장식 철강 디자인을 전문으로 하는 Newco Ironworks의 오랜 위치였습니다. 2010년에 Factory Lofts 콘도미니엄으로 개조되어, 개발자들은 벽돌 외관을 원래의 영광으로 복원하고, 주요 로비에 대형 목재 기둥을 통합했으며, 건물에 수직 확장을 추가했습니다.

66 North 1st Street is a classic adaptive reuse of an early 20th century commercial building, originally built in 1910. A true nod to Williamsburg’s industrial past, the factory was once the longtime site of Newco Ironworks, specializing in custom steel structural and ornamental Ironwork design. Converted to the Factory Lofts Condominium in 2010, developers restored its brick facade to its original glory, incorporating oversized timber columns in the main lobby and added a vertical extension to the building.

Loft 2A features floor-to-ceiling walls of original brick, custom and architectural steel stairs and railings.
