The Palisades Country Store, (aka the General Store), was built about 1830 and is located in the heart of the Palisades historic district. It's an excellent example of Greek Revival architecture, which has been modified through the years with decorative trim on the exterior, beautiful, large stained-glass panels in the front windows, antique cast iron stove, pot belly stove in the great room, an old-style gas lamp and old swing on front porch! In the 1990s a modern addition with vaulted ceilings, skylights and many French doors, was added in the rear. Several petit garden spaces grace the property including one with koi pond.

This home has great provenance and character. It feels amazing the minute you walk thru the door! Luxury meets simple, rustic design! Clean and modern.
