비전 있는 건축가인 토마스 리저가 디자인한 이 독특한 펜트하우스 로프트는 뉴욕의 아이콘인 원 반델빌트와 도미노 설탕 공장을 창조한 머리로, 소호의 상징적인 프린스 스트리트에 위치한 개념적 걸작이자 정교하게 조율된 집입니다.

맨해튼의 고급 아파트들이 가지는 무균적인 균일성을 거부하고, 이 거주지는 불완전함과 대조를 포용합니다. 형태, 색조, 마감이 각기 다른 대리석 슬래브들이 엄격한 카르테시안 그리드를 거스르며 복잡성이 평온으로 변모되는 살아있는 조각을 창조합니다. 재활용된 목재, 시멘트 블록 및 돌은 정교한 마감과 대화하며, 모순을 숨기는 것이 아닌 기념합니다.

광활한 거실은 기념비적인 스카이라이트 아래 30피트의 천장으로 높이 솟아 있습니다. 오버사이즈 창문이 17세기 프랑스 오크 바닥을 따라 잔잔한 빛을 초대하며, 나무 난로가 따뜻함으로 공간을 고정합니다. 천장이 내려지거나 석고보드, 내부 문이 없는 오픈 플랜은 뉴욕 소호의 중심부에 있는 창의적인 작업실을 떠올리게 합니다.

중심에는 이탈리아에서 맞춤 제작한 발쿠치네 주방이 예술성과 유용성을 결합합니다. 이탈리아 돌로 치장된 이 주방은 서브 제로 냉장고와 냉동고, 미엘레 인덕션 쿡탑과 전기 오븐, 피셔 앤드 파이켈 서랍형 식기세척기, 미엘레 세탁기와 건조기로 최고의 기기를 갖추고 있습니다.

개인 공간은 큐레이션된 불완전함의 주제를 계속 이어갑니다. 주요 스위트는 세계적 수준의 호텔의 친밀함을 전달하며, 조각 같은 벨기에 점토 욕조와 미니멀리스트 존 파우슨 비품이 있는 거대한 개방형 샤워, 온돌이 가열된 돌 바닥과 골동품 받침대 및 화석화된 나무 싱크대와 같은 맞춤형 악센트가 특징입니다. 바닥부터 천장까지의 거울이 벽에 기대어 있으며, 약간 비스듬히 세워져 있어 경사진 바닥의 기이한 착시 효과를 만들어냅니다. 손으로 제작된 시멘트 타일과 맞춤형 거울, 증기실과 고대의 받침대, 화석화된 나무 싱크대가 제공되는 손님 스위트는 돌 계단으로 접근할 수 있습니다. 이 모든 것이 존 파우슨 비품으로 완성됩니다.

기능은 사려 깊은 세부 사항에서 안락함과 만납니다: 로프트는 방음 처리되어 있으며, 주층과 상층 욕실의 돌 바닥을 따뜻하게 하는 온수 난방이 있어 아늑한 겨울을 보장합니다.

SoHo Penthouse Loft - Imperfect Beauty Reimagined on Prince Street  

Designed by visionary architect Thomas Leeser-the mind behind New York icons like One Vanderbilt and the Domino Sugar Factory-this one-of-a-kind penthouse loft on SoHo's iconic Prince Street is both a conceptual masterpiece and a finely tuned home.  

Rejecting the sterile uniformity of Manhattan's luxury  condos , the residence embraces imperfection and contrast. Marble slabs, each unique in shape, tone, and finish, defy the rigid Cartesian grid, creating a living sculpture where complexity transforms into tranquility. Reclaimed wood,  cinderblock  and stone are set in dialogue with refined finishes, celebrating contradiction rather than concealing it.  

The expansive living area rises to 30-foot ceilings beneath a monumental skylight. Oversized windows invite serene light across 17th-century French oak floors, while a wood-burning fireplace anchors the space with warmth. With no dropped ceilings, sheetrock, or interior doors, the open plan evokes a creative atelier in the heart of SoHo, New York City.  

At its center, a custom  Valcucine  kitchen from Italy combines artistry and utility. Clad in Italian stone, it is outfitted with top-tier appliances: Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer drawers, Miele induction cooktop and electric oven, Fisher & Paykel drawer dishwasher, and Miele washer and dryer.  

Private spaces continue the theme of curated imperfection. The primary suite channels the intimacy of a world-class hotel, with a sculptural Belgian clay soaking tub, a  massive open shower  with minimalist John Pawson fixtures, radiant-heated stone floors, and bespoke accents like an antique pedestal and petrified wood sink. A  floor-to-ceiling mirror leans against the wall.
